Challenge
Electronic Arts needed an iPhone application that uses EA’s Need for Speed Autolog website database. The API connects to Xbox live and the Playstation Network. The iPhone Companion app must be designed to match the current branding of the Autolog site and match the functionality of the website but with the usability, functionality and experience of the iPhone.
Solution
Burton Design Group designed the interface, wireframes and user experience that created an engaging and intuitive experience. BDG integrated the Need for Speed Autolog website database API’s within the iOS platform so that users could retrieve their user data coming from Xbox Live and the Playstation Network. BDG worked closely with EA to ensure the branding and quality matched the brand quality users expect from EA’s Need for Speed franchise.
